ABOUT THE ENVIROSTARS PROGRAM

Whether you’re a local non-profit who wants to help businesses go green, a trade organization who wants to bring free resources to their members, or a business who wants to support the EnviroStars program and help other businesses access our services, we’d love to partner with you!

Sponsorship Packages

Washington businesses and organizations can sponsor the EnviroStars program to allow us to offer additional services and support beyond the current program budget. Possibilities include translating the website into more languages, offering green business events like networking or tours, creating a business makeover grant program, hosting a green business challenge, and boosting current program initiatives and reach.

Partnerships

We love to partner with other local and green organizations to help their members or audience access EnviroStars support. Current partners include:

➤ Seattle Good Business Network | We partnered to offer their members a special networking and EnviroStars registration event. Seattle Good includes information on their website and in the Seattle Made application process about EnviroStars.

➤ FreshChalk | We partnered to emphasize EnviroStars recognition on FreshChalk business profiles, and FreshChalk created a page listing all EnviroStars businesses with Fresh Chalk profiles.

 ➤ California Green Business Program | We partner on our web platform.

Advocates and Business Advisors

Businesses and organizations who would like to support green business in Washington can become EnviroStars Advocates or join our Business Advisory Committee. Advocates can host business-facing events, like green networking or tours, offer program presentations, and help promote EnviroStars in their organization’s marketing. Bring EnviroStars to Businesses in Your City, County, or Utility

Becoming an EnviroStars member agency means you’re part of a statewide program that provides Washington businesses with a single, trusted source they can turn to for all environmental actions.

EnviroStars enhances but does not replace your existing outreach program. By using pooled resources to fund a dynamic web portal, business recognition, and joint program marketing, you’ll have more resources to devote to hands-on business assistance. Your business participants get access to broader marketing opportunities and connections to other green business services and programs throughout the state.
